Jon Pettitt joins the panel at DICE East

Excool was proud to be part of the DICE East in Virginia, USA discussion centered around sustainability of data centers.

There are over 7B people on planet Earth and over 40B connected devices, and that number will grow 10X by the end of the decade.

Jon Pettitt joined a panel to discuss the future of data center cooling and one of the interesting topics was “air-cooling” vs “water-cooling”. The consensus of the group of experts is that air-cooling is the favored practical solution for foreseeable future. The topic of water-use was also discussed as a primary driver of data center design.

Fun facts: 70% of global data center traffic runs through Ashburn VA.

Excool Zero provides air-side economization and features an extremely low water use, nearly negligible, as a Sustainable Cooling option for data centers.
